dear sir
good day to you!
hope you will be fine, please provide the reply for the following
If the issue is happening because of Next-Gen display option it means that your theme does not handle <picture> tags as same as <img> tags. When using Next-Gen display option (using <picture> tags), the HTML output is changed by wrapping up <picture> tag on top of <img> tag. The CSS code that handles <img> tag is not applied properly in that case. It would be ideal to contact your theme provider and ask them to check this in more detail, as it would be great improvement for their theme to make full compatibility for using picture tags.
thank you sir

Hello,
Previously, we had a handful of clients who utilized plugins to convert their images into different formats (avif, webp), and the process was generally satisfactory. However, we must point out that certain formats may not display correctly in emails, as indicated by the resources provided https://prnt.sc/Xu55dSIjLHrV and https://www.caniemail.com/search/?s=avif. Consequently, some customers have had to disable these conversion options.
Regarding the use of “picture”, the matter is somewhat more complex. Our scripts and stylesheets contain specific checks for img tags, and if you opt “convert to picture”, it may not function as intended. Therefore, we will need to address compatibility issues as they arise, based on the client’s feedback, and tackle them in a systematic manner.
Overall, you have the option to enable all features on the staging environment and assess any changes that occur. Then report back to us, and we will determine what may require fixing. We will work together to gradually achieve full compatibility.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
