dear sir
good day to you!
should we activate remove unused css?
Hi Khurram,
In WP Rocket settings, is the Remove Unused CSS feature is already enabled? If not, please enable it.
If it’s already enabled and the audits are still showing up, it’s possible the Used CSS generation didn’t work as expected.
Next up, you could click on the “clear Used CSS” option in the top menu to restart the generation of the Used CSS.
You can make sure the Used CSS generation is completed by seeing the admin notices, enabling the Preload feature, and then by looking for the wpr-usedcss CSS block on your site’s source code.
If the above doesn’t help, then we’d need to check the Remove Unused CSS’s basic requirements.
And, lastly, if you still don’t see the Used CSS being applied to your site, please refer to the Troubleshoot Used CSS generation issues guide.
Let me know if the issue persists after following the above steps.
I checked the PageSpeed Insights report and here are some tweaks to improve it:
Your logo is the main LCP image
This is because it’s LazyLoaded. Please exclude it from being LazyLoaded: Disable LazyLoad on specific images
Web fonts number is too high
There are 11 custom web fonts loaded on the page. Webfonts are beautiful, but heavy. You should keep their number as low as possible. This rule reached the abnormality threshold, which means there is a real problem you should care about.
Excessive DOM size
This is related to the code and content of your page. Every time you add an image, a paragraph, a link, a module/widget from your page builder etc, you’re adding more elements (nodes) to the DOM and increasing its size.
This can’t be fixed by WP Rocket. You would have to address this directly through the design of your site.
You can find our related doc here: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1412-avoid-an-excessive-dom-size
This should be a good start!
Regarding the issue you mentioned in the other ticket you opened, I think it could be related to the several cache layers active on your site on the top of WP Rocket’s page caching: https://wp-rocket.romainvincent.com/XUUUMN1Q
thank you for reading, waiting for your precious guidelines.
