Hi, we have a lot of categories in our store and many of them are not showing on smaller screens. We have decided to move the categories menu to the sidebar, but it looks quite bad.
Now, We would like to do it the same way as it’s in the main menu – but I guess this might be a little difficult, as the structure is not the same. Unless this is possible (and not too time-consuming, this is preffered option).
Otherwise, we might do it the same way as it’s in the shop sidebar. We used the same widget, so I guess this is a question of some CSS copy/changes. If You can guide me on that / where exactly to find the code / add some tips, I’d be gratefull.

Ok, sorry for a little bit messy message, let me clarify with images:
Image 1: This is how the categories menu from the header looks like. This is the most desired look, with subcategories showing on the right.
Image 2: This is what we have now in the sidebar.
Functional, but messy.
Image 3: This is the same widget as (2) but on the shop page. It looks much better. I hope we can do (2) the same way (but, by the way, with all the categories shown (so no +14 more, but all visible)
Admin pass in private content, the website is copied now.

Hi. And thanks for Your help 🙂
Unfortunately, I’m not sure if I was understood well 🙂
What I’d like to achieve, is that the sidebar categories menu You have just adjusted on homepage looks and works exactly like the categories menu on shop page.

Hello, @Michael,
We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to assist you. Upon reviewing your website, we have identified that the presence of a side-panel widget on the homepage is the primary factor in question.
Should you desire to display the sidebar on your homepage in a manner consistent with that on your shop page, we kindly suggest the following steps:
1. Navigate to the homepage editing section.
2. Access the ‘XStore options’.
3. Proceed to ‘Select widget area’.
4. Choose the desired sidebar position to suit your preferences.
5. Ensure to save the changes by updating the page.
For your convenience, we have attached an image to serve as a visual guide. https://imgur.com/hO0o1TA
Alternatively, if you are utilizing Elementor for page editing, you may:
1. Edit the page with Elementor.
2. Incorporate the ‘Xstore sidebar/filters widget’.
3. Adjust the settings according to your specific requirements.
4. Update the page to apply the changes.
An image has been provided for your reference to facilitate this alternative method as well.
