    Hello,

I am sorry but I have tried to follow the instructions (https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/how_to_translate) but I really do not understand how it works.

    My question is:

My website is in french and I would like the theme to understand that the website base is in french and I will translate it in english. So is it possible? because has I understand it, the base is always in english and then you translate it in whatever the language you want. Am I correct?

If it is not possible, what do I have to do? rewrite all my website in english and then create the file to put it in french?

If you have a beginner tutorial for this I would be more than happy to read it.

    Thanks you

    Thibault

Please clarify: do you want to create a multilingual site?
    Thank you.

Yes exactly, I want to create a multilingual site. French & English.

Right now my website is all in french.

How do I use PoEdit to make the sofware understand that the website is in french and I will translate it in english?

So base in french and translation english.

    Thank you

    Hello,

You need to use wpml plugin for these purposes: http://wpml.org/
It will help you to translate the site into different languages.
