I’m using Polylang and loco translate string translations, but all string translation are suddenly not reflecting
Hello, Fareed Fares,
Site language should be selected in Dashboard > Settings.
Translation files for themes should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder,
for plugins, like Core plugin, in /wp-content/languages/plugins folder (this is the System location), with correct names, for example, for XStore theme: xstore-ar.po, and xstore-core-ar.po for XStore Core plugin, then you will not lose translation after the update.
We have noticed that the translation files are currently not visible on your site via Dashboard > Loco Translate. If you have previously translated the site and then noticed that the translation has disappeared, we recommend checking your backup files. If you have not yet translated the site, please refer to our documentation for further instructionshttps://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
Additionally, please be aware that some hosting providers offer regular backups for their customers, which can be useful for maintaining your site’s data integrity.
Best Regards,

I’m using string translation and added some translations to strings from languages > translations but they are not appearing so don’t get the issue
Hello, Fareed Fares,
We are pleased to inform you that we have implemented the translation for the theme and Core plugin as outlined in our previous correspondence (using Loco Translate). The “Buy Now” button has been translated accordingly. Please proceed with translating the remaining necessary lines.
We have reviewed the theme and are confident that there are no issues from its side. Should you require further assistance, we recommend contacting the support team of the PolyLang plugin you are using. They will be able to provide detailed guidance on how to effectively use their plugin.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Thnak you but other fields translated are not reflecting for other plugins like woocomerce or paytabs
can you check for them too?
Hello, Fareed Fares,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to remind you that our support is dedicated solely to our theme. For further assistance with the PolyLang plugin, we kindly ask you to contact their support team directly.
Best Regards,

okay so can you explain the steps yo used to make the translation of the theme works in written steps and screenshots here and I will do the same for the other plugins?
Hello, Fareed Fares,
We’ve followed this article https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/ and video.
In simple words: Go to Loco Translate > Plugins > select a plugin. Press “Add new language” or edit translation > find and translate the necessary strings and Save.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
