Create extra column on single product page

Hi, I have a question about the single product page. I would like to create an additional column that will be shown next to the product information on a computer screen and then moved to below the product information on mobile. I have products with a lot of text (such as the example link in the private area content) but also pages with significantly less text. In both cases it is desirable to be able to place something right next to the text. (At the moment the column for text is pretty wide, i know how to make this smaller). For example, a widget with links to information pages or simply images/banners. Unfortunately I was not able to design it this way. All elements that I add via the Single product page builder are added either above or below the text. So I wonder if what I want is possible? It cannot be a fixed element, but must therefore be able to be shown or not shown per product or at least be adjusted per product. I have included login details in the private content area because the webshop is not yet live. I’m curious if you can help me with this?

Hi @Arnan,

You can break out the product description into 2 columns by adding this custom CSS under XStore > Theme Options > Theme Custom CSS > Global CSS:

}

Hi Luca, it does work but not quite like i want. With a lot of text it creates 3 columns. With little text it is not completely evenly distributed. I actually also wanted to add a column of text (half of the page) and an element on the other half. For example a shortcode. But maybe that isn’t possible?
