    Can the following issues be addressed?
    1) Ask For Estimate button: Remove it please
    2) Quantity: It does not show anything on the website. Should this allow a person to add multiple quantities of the same product?
    3) Stock Status: It is also blank. It should show In Stock or Out of Stock
    4) Select Options: The link takes me to the product page. Is the idea that the buyer adds the product to the cart from there and then return to the Wishlist? It seems odd, because it does not even show that it’s already on the Wishlist.
    5) Even after clicking on “Add to Wishlist” again on the product list, the “Remove from Wishlist” disappears when I go back to the same product, even though the item is on the Wishlist.
    6) Is there a way to allow the customer to select the actual options straight from the Wishlist?

    If the requests above or not achievable, do you recommend a Wishlist plugin that will work well with this theme? How would I make sure that the third-party wishlist becomes the default one?

    Hello, Safe Desires,

    Thank you for reaching out with your concerns and queries regarding our theme functionalities. We appreciate your detailed feedback and are here to assist you with each of the issues you’ve listed.

    1/ To address your first concern, please implement the following custom CSS code:

    .xstore-wishlist-form .et-call-popup.btn.bordered {
        display: none;
    }

    2. Regarding the issue of quantity being empty because it is a variable product that cannot be simply added to the cart (selection of variations on the single product page or directly adding a variation/simple product to the wishlist would resolve this), please refer to the screenshot for clarity: https://prnt.sc/WQagf2v3-drQ

    3-4. The issues mentioned are similar to the above.

    5. When transitioning to the single product page, the default variation, which was not initially in the wishlist, is typically pre-selected. This is why the ‘add to wishlist’ button appears. Adding the variation as described should resolve issues 2-4. For more details, please see: https://prnt.sc/21uIIkPFfil8

    6. We would recommend you submit a request on our Taskboard at [8Theme Taskboard](https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/). Should your suggestion garner sufficient support from other customers, our development team will take it into consideration for inclusion in future updates.

    Please try to use the free YITH Wishlist plugin, ensuring that the XStore Wishlist option is disabled via ThemeOptions.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    I need to re-open this topic in so much as looking at point one, what is the purpose of the ask for an estimate button?

    It doesn’t do anything! it just gives the option of a popup with html, what use is this, where is the list on the wish list being sent etc?

    I’ve had to remove it too, it doesn’t do anything this post seems to say it does (or am i missing something)

    Dear @finleydesign,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We would like to inform you about the functionality of the ‘Ask for Estimate’ button, which is designed for users interested in purchasing products from their wishlists and may wish to inquire about discounts or notifications. To maintain the integrity on our demos and prevent spam messages, we have not displayed examples of this feature in our demonstrations.

    For the ‘Ask for Estimate’ feature to function correctly, it is necessary to embed a contact form shortcode within the popup associated with this feature.

    Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    So as a store owner, where do I see the Wishlist content?

    “One of the most powerful aspects of the Ask Estimate Wishlist is its ability to provide useful insights into what customers truly want.”

    Where can we see this? is there more settings I need to do, I understand the enquiry form, but where as a shop manager do i get to see what they want an estimate for?

    Dear @finleydesign,

    We regret to inform you that we currently do not have statistics available regarding products added to customers’ wishlists. However, you can view the products from a customer’s current wishlist who has sent you a request with the ‘Ask for estimate’ by accessing the URL provided in their email: https://prnt.sc/jwbVkvh3lwIQ. To facilitate such additions, you may use the shortcode [_wishlist_page_url] available at https://prnt.sc/sEuVf4TCUDZc.

    Furthermore, we would like to inform you that we are already in the process of implementing functionality for Wishlist item statistics, as this is among the most popular requests on our Future Taskboard. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our services.

    Thank you for your attention. Should you have any more inquiries or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Ok I’ll have a look, but it’s a bit odd that you advertise this hugely useful tool, when in fact it doesn’t do anything useful

    Even more oddly, if you look at the other wishlist plugins, in the back end I can see their setup, i might have to move over to them instead, as this currently doesn’t offer any real benefit in my view

    Dear @finleydesign,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    At our company, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of most our clients. However, it is challenging to encapsulate the requirements of every customer into a single package. Therefore, our approach includes providing basic functionalities with essential options that we believe will be beneficial for all users.

    Regarding more specialized needs such as advanced Wishlist functionalities, we encourage you to explore external plugins that cater specifically to those requirements. For instance, if there is a plugin that satisfies 90% of your Wishlist feature needs and logicaly is specifically designed for that purpose, utilizing it would be advantageous. Integrating such specialized features directly into our theme could potentially lead to increased complexity and reduced performance, as it would unnecessarily burden the majority of users who may not need these advanced capabilities.

    Please be assured that our theme is designed with flexibility in mind. We do not mandate the use of our built-in features; rather, we provide options to activate or deactivate various functionalities according to your preferences.

    Thank you for your understanding and for choosing our theme. Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Sure I understand, but as mentioned I would review this post and see that everything it describes isn’t true, the function doesn’t do anything listed on this post

    Dear @finleydesign,

    I hope this message finds you well.

    I would like to inform you that the descriptions on our tag pages are crafted by our SEO managers. Their primary aim is to optimize content for indexing systems like Google. Consequently, these descriptions may not always encapsulate the complete details relevant to the features of our theme. However, they are essential for enhancing searchability as outlined earlier.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    They serve very little purpose when the content isn’t true, what even weird is you talk about how useful the ask for an estimate function is, then provide no function!
