Hi,
I am unable to edit checkout page on Elementor. It says “You must call the _content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”
I have already tried by changing the theme and disabling the plugins. Please help.
Thanks

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for resolving the issue 🙂
Hi Andrew,
The same issue started again. I didn’t make any changes to the website. Kindly note that some website options like shop sidebar and search were automatically changed when you rectified the issue last time. Please check it again. It will be fine if you reset the theme/template to the default as it is a new website
Thanks
Waiting for reply on my previous message.
Hello, Zeeshan Ahmad,
I hope this message finds you well. Could you please provide a detailed description of the most recent actions or changes made on the website prior to the reoccurrence of the error?
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Hi Andrew,
I didn’t make any major changes before that. Changed logo, added shop sidebars that were gone etc. Now you can see the shop page is broken as well. I am afraid that these type of random errors could disturb the other sections of website. Kindly provide a permanent solution.
Thanks
Zeeshan
Hello, Zeeshan Ahmad,
I hope this message finds you well. We are currently experiencing difficulties accessing the administrative panel. Could you kindly provide us with the updated access credentials at your earliest convenience?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your reply. I am sharing the updated credentials please check.
Dear, Zeeshan Ahmad,
Thank you for your reply and for sharing the updated credentials.
We have identified the issue as being due to the assignment of the same page for both the checkout and the shop page. By designating separate pages for the shop and checkout, we have successfully resolved the issue. You should now be able to edit the checkout page using Elementor without any problems, and the shop page should also function correctly.
If you have any more questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Thanks Andrew, the problem is now resolved.
