Hello, I have a problem with the store on xstore. Unfortunately, since June 19, my hosting CPU usage has been at 100% all the time. After turning off xstore, the problem disappears. What can I check? Everything is updated to the latest version.

    Dear @Kruczek WebHouse,

I hope this message finds you well. We have identified several factors contributing to the high CPU usage on your website and would like to offer some guidance to help address these issues.

    1. **Plugin Activity**: Our analysis shows that your site is currently running approximately 32 active plugins, as illustrated here: https://prnt.sc/q9p8EvBjoCK3. Each plugin executes its own code, which can significantly impact CPU performance. Please, use the really need ones and deactivate others.

    2. **Optimization Recommendations**: We recommend reviewing the following article, which provides valuable insights into optimizing your website settings to enhance CPU efficiency: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/100-how-to-speed-up-my-website.

    3. **Third-Party Plugin Errors**: After installing the Query Monitor plugin, we have detected several errors originating from third-party plugins. Details can be found here: https://prnt.sc/LGhIOpt831Yj.

To further investigate and mitigate the high CPU usage, we kindly request that you contact your hosting provider for detailed information regarding the CPU usage. Specifically, it would be beneficial to obtain a list of functions and features that are consuming the most resources.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and are here to assist you with any further questions or concerns.

    Best Regards,

    Hello, Kruczek WebHouse,

We hope this message finds you well. Upon reviewing the logs, we did not find any indications related to xstore issues. However, we have observed an overloaded wp-cron.php, which suggests a high number of deferred or repeated tasks. This could potentially be linked to settings for auto-updates (update checks) or connections to external APIs.

Please proceed with updating all plugins and then re-evaluate the system.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Dear @Kruczek WebHouse,

I hope this message finds you well.

We acknowledge that you are experiencing unique CPU-related issues while utilizing our XStore theme. After conducting extensive tests on our demo environments, local sites, and the development sites managed by our support team, we have not encountered similar issues. Consequently, we find ourselves at an impasse, as all conventional solutions have been exhausted without success. It appears that a specific interaction between our theme and your WordPress configuration may be contributing to these challenges.

Regarding the management of WP Cron, particularly for higher traffic websites, disabling WP Cron could be a viable strategy. It is essential to configure your server to execute wp-cron.php periodically, ensuring that automatic updates for plugins continue to occur, whether daily or at another interval of your choosing. Although Wordfence does not manage this aspect, I recommend visiting the following link for guidance on how to disable WP Cron: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/disable-wp-cron/

We hope this information proves helpful to you. Should you require further assistance or have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

After disabling cron and additionally disabling and enabling the woocommerce and xstore plugins, the CPU calmed down for a while, and then the CPU consumption was the same as before. After turning off xstore, the problem disappears. Please give me further tips on what I can do. This is clearly a problem with the theme and its plugin.

Additionally, the lscache folder on the host fills up very quickly – I have to clean it once a day, even though the cache plugin is disabled…

    Dear @Kruczek WebHouse,

We would like to suggest that you consider testing your website with an alternative theme for a period of 1-2 days. It may be beneficial to set up a staging website for this purpose. As previously mentioned, this issue is unfamiliar to us, and we are committed to finding a solution that will be advantageous for both parties.

Regarding the issue with lscache, we recommend reaching out directly to the plugin’s author for further insights. Their response may provide clues as to why you are experiencing CPU overloading and excessive caching.

Additionally, we advise you to review the .htaccess files from both your previous and current websites. There may be configurations triggering frequent refreshes or recaching processes.

Thank you for your attention to these suggestions. We look forward to resolving these issues together.

The cache plugin is disabled and removed – it does not affect the website. I ran tests and disabling your themes and core plugins solves the problem. I have ruled out other plugins as the cause of the problem. I expect you to help me solve a problem with your software. I also hope that it will be done quickly because support has been going on for too long.

This exact same issue is happening on our super-fast dedicated server with 8cores lol – it was fine for years then since the recent upgrade, our server is hitting 100% CPU and RAM too – disabling X-Store does indeed fix it instantly.
