Assistance Needed with Image Editing on Homepage

Hello Team,

This is the most important issue. When I try to edit and place images, they are being cut off and displayed vertically on the homepage. How can I edit the image so that it displays correctly? Currently, the default theme adds a countdown and text to the image, but I only want the image to be displayed. Can you please explain how to do this? If not, I can send you the image, and you can edit and place it for me.

I do not understand why there are so many issues with the theme.
