In checkout page after payment –> add account menu

Hi,
when a customer finished payment the checkout page is displayed.
but no action is possible except policy link.

I’d like to redirect instead to account page or the full website header

Dear @Gbp,

We hope this message finds you well. We kindly request that you copy the following file from your parent theme to the child theme:

File Path: /wp-content/themes/xstore/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-advanced.php

Please place it in the specified location in your child theme after that add the link to your “My Account” page, following line 89.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion
but this would not stay If I update the parent theme
can I add this into
child theme/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-advanced.php

?

Hi @Gbp,

As we suggest in the previous reply, you MUST copy that file into the child theme.

So the correct path should be: /wp-content/themes/xstore-child/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou-advanced.php
