    Hi,

    1. Please see attached screenshot. I have active filter widget in my shop sidebar but when I select any of the items, the active filter widget does not show on top.

    2. Please see video. When I select a categories, like in the example in the video, and search, products do not appear, even though there are products associated to that category.

    3. How do I edit the look of the shop side bar widget on the left that can be seen in the screenshot? For example, I’d like to make the background of the title areas of each filter section a certain colour, and I’d like to see what it looks like if each filter section is split from the other like I have seen in some demos. For example, the “filter by categories” section is separated from the “filter by suppliers” section.

    Thanks

    Dear @Applesandcider,

I hope this message finds you well. To display the active filters at the top of your sidebar, please add the “Active Filters” widget by navigating to Dashboard -> Widgets -> Shop Sidebar on your admin panel. If you need something another, please, provide us more information of the appropriate result.

We have noticed an issue with the access permissions for checking your filter settings; unfortunately, we are unable to verify them directly. However, based on the information provided, it appears that you may have selected the ‘AND’ query type for your Car Rentals product filters (first select). We recommend setting this to ‘OR’ to ensure that products with any of the selected values are displayed. You can view an example from our local web-site: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/49448113?key=449d834fabe200083d32ce2279fc3810.

There are numerous options available for configuring the Sidebar area Elementor widget to meet your specific needs. We encourage you to explore these settings. Should you find a sidebar design in our demos that you wish to implement, please do not hesitate to contact us for suggestions on how to adjust your settings accordingly.

Please be aware that while we strive to provide comprehensive support, additional customization falls outside the scope of our standard support services. Should you require further customization, we invite you to submit a request via our customization panel at https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel.

Thank you for choosing 8Theme. We look forward to assisting you further.

Please see attached screenshot of active filters that was already added in the shop sidebar, but as per the screenshot originally sent to you, when I select categories in the archive product page, the active filters section does not appear.

It does appear in other scenarios, like when I use the product filter on the homepage which takes me to my shop page, you can see this happen in the original video I sent.

However, based on the information provided, it appears that you may have selected the ‘AND’ query type for your Car Rentals product filters (first select). We recommend setting this to ‘OR’ to ensure that products with any of the selected values are displayed.

    That worked, thank you

    I will check, thanks.

I have updated my FTP credentials and WPAdmin access as 8theme staff were having problems accessing. Hopefully now both FTP and WPadmin are accessible.

    Thanks
