Editing shop site with elementor not possible

Hello community, from yesterday on I am trying to open and edit the shop site from the bookstore demo – but it does not open (look at shop1.jpg and shop2.jpg). What could be the problem? I found that probably it seems normal that it is not possible to edit the Woocommerce Shop Page with Elementor. Is this true? So, how can I customize the shop page? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, @Marion,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

The shop page is a catalog page for products that cannot be edited using the Elementor free version by default. To be able to edit the Shop page using Elementor, Please use XStore builders: Product archive builder and make custom layout for shop page or archive pages.
