Hello i have my ecommerce made with xstore, hosted on a vps with 64 giga of ram, AMD EPYC 7282 16-Core Processor 2794.748 MHz (10 cores) and 700 gb of ssd, lately it opens very very slowly or sometimes it does not open at all (cpu resources at 100%) I spoke with the vps supplier and he told me that it depends on the site code (??).
Can you do a check for me? Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you provide FTP access?
For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

Dear @Gabriele,
I hope this message finds you well. Based on the screenshot you provided, it appears there are several areas on your server that could benefit from improvements.
Our analysis according to your screenshot from server indicates that your server is running on PHP version 5.4.16. This version is considerably outdated and has been deprecated, as per the official PHP documentation. It is generally slower compared to the newer versions. Interestingly, your website seems to display that it is running on PHP version 8.x. This discrepancy might be due to specific filters being applied, or it could be that the displayed version is incorrect and needs updating.
Additionally, could you please provide any analysis from your server that might explain the slow performance of your website? It is possible that errors stemming from plugins could be contributing to the issue. We recommend deactivating each plugin one by one to identify the exact cause of the slowdown. Also, you can switch to default StoreFront theme and check the speed time.
Thank you for your attention to these matters. We look forward to your prompt response so that we can assist you further.

I seem to have solved it by deleting a couple of plugins. Thanks

hi, I have an update: the problem occurs again, I tried to activate storefront as you recommended but nothing new.
At this point I deactivated all the plugins (except woocommerce and xstore core) for the whole night and the cpu loads are at zero, as per the attached screenshot and the site is very fast and I have no problems like the past few days.
I could not understand which of the plugins could conflict so I kindly ask you for help.
The VPS manager told me that everything is ok.
Thank you in advance for a check.
Dear @gabrielet,
We hope this message finds you well.
We are ready to assist you with the issue you are experiencing, but it appears that there may have been changes made to the wp-admin access credentials. As a result, we are currently unable to log in and perform the necessary debugging.
Could you please verify that the access credentials provided are correct? Ensuring accurate information will help us address your concerns more efficiently.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sure!
Dear @Gabriele,
I hope this message finds you well. We have observed that many of your plugins are currently inactive, which appears to coincide with an increase in your website’s speed. This leads us to believe that the performance issues may be related to the plugins that have been disabled.
Could you please confirm if you have identified the specific plugin causing the issue? Once you have completed your testing and restored your website to its standard configuration, kindly inform us so that we can proceed with further testing on our end.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response.

ok, I tried.
It seems that the plugins that load the cpu at 100% are:
Elementor
Elementor Pro
Next-Cart Customer Password
Complianz | GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent
even when I deactivate Elementor and Elementor Pro it gives me an error as in the screenshot.
can you check and try to solve this big problem of mine please?
Thanks a lot.
Nothing, it started to do it again even with the plugins deactivated.
I deactivate everything and it works. I reactivate one plugin at a time except those described in the previous message and anyway after a while everything slows down again.
It goes intermittently……
I don’t know how to solve it anymore.
Any news please?
another plugin that seems to be annoying the cpu is:
PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce
Dear @Gabriele,

Ok, thanks and sorry.
Hello, gabrielet,
We hope this message finds you well. We would like to inform you that we are not responsible for the performance issues caused by third-party plugins, as their development is beyond our control.
Additionally, another factor affecting performance is the automatic indexing of sites by Facebook, which is embedded in WordPress. To address this, we suggest the following two options:
1) If you have the WP Rocket plugin, you can enable caching for the Facebook user agent by following the instructions provided here: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1563-enable-cache-for-facebook-user-agent
2) Alternatively, you can block the Facebook crawler at the server level. Detailed instructions can be found here: https://endurtech.com/block-facebook-crawler-facebookexternalhit/
We trust that these measures will assist in enhancing your site’s performance. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,
The 8Theme Team
