We need to show only parent categories & Some Other error

Hello team,
we need to some changes but we don’t find any setting or any way to make this changes so please help us
1. We need to show only selected categories in Filter by Category widget in shop page.
2. In Spotlight Categories Elementor widget, we need to show sub categories when someone click on parent categories.

Dear @Growthx Media,

I hope this message finds you well. We are currently looking to enhance the functionality of the “Filter by Category” widget on our shop page and would appreciate your guidance on a couple of issues:

1. Unfortunately, it appears that the widget does not natively support this feature. However, we have considered a few potential solutions:
– Utilizing custom CSS to hide the categories that should not be displayed.
– Enabling the Advanced mode but it will work for the default WooCommerce product categories widget. This mode includes a “Show All Categories” link and displays only the children of the current category on the product category page.

2. Regarding the ‘Include IDs’ setting for the Categories source, it seems it does not function as we intended because you set the Categories by ids to be displayed as illustrated here: https://prnt.sc/03TaHFvRGb1b. We suggest setting the data source to ‘All categories’ to achieve the desired functionality. Please try this adjustment and let us know if it resolves the issue.
