Sales Booster – Quantity Discount – Can it be used for different variations?

When looking at Quantity Discounts, I don’t see a setting to allow for a customer to use, for example, two different colors of the same product. Is the only way to use this option by choosing the exact same product/sku?

This ensures that the correct product variation is added to the cart based on the customer’s selection.

For products like women’s underwear, it would make a lot of sense to offer something like buy-one, get one 50% off, but only if the 2nd item can be a different color.
