Hi there,
I am coming with another weird error which is actually that the variant options are not showing on the front end just for one product!
Hello, @Suit District,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
1/ Please temporarily activate the XStore parent theme on your website and check again. Let us know the result.
If it works correctly with XStore parent theme then it is confirmed the issue is caused by your child theme customization.
2/ We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins and CDN ) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ ), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.
If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.
Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
The 8Theme Team
Hi Tony,
the product works on the xstore parent theme. I swiched off all plugins, leaving only Elementor, Xstore and Woocommerce but it was still the same. I changed the Single product template from elementor builder to the customizer built in the theme, but it was still the same.
I turn on debugging but don’t see any errors so i assume that the child theme may be the problem.
Hello, @Suit District,
Thank you for your prompt response. Following your confirmation that the Products and product variation function correctly with the XStore parent theme, we have determined that the issue originates from your child theme.
To resolve this matter, we recommend reviewing any customizations made to your child theme’s code. Alternatively, you may opt to install and activate a new child theme. Please download the updated child theme from the following link: https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
We hope this solution proves helpful. Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
The 8Theme Team
I did it. Deleted the old child theme and installed brand new. We haven’t done any code customizations. Could you please login to our site and check if the error is on the child theme file itself?
Hello, @Suit District,
Thank you for your prompt response.
Upon reviewing your website, we have conducted tests by creating a new variable product and found that it functions correctly. It appears that the issue is isolated to the specific products you initially mentioned. Other products, including the newly tested variable product, are operating as expected with the child theme on your site.
To address this matter, we kindly suggest that you delete the two problematic products and add them anew to your website. Please verify their functionality after re-adding them. We believe this should resolve the issue.
Should you require further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
8Theme’s Team
