Sub Categories are not showing up on shop page

Hi

I have added some sub-categories – screenshot1

But they are not showing up on the shop page – https://jarahi.pk/products – screenshot2

Can you please guide me on how I can manage sub categories?

I hope this message finds you well. Following your recent query and the screenshots you provided, it appears you wish to display sub-categories in a hierarchical format on the sidebar of your shop page. However, you have encountered an issue where the sub-categories are not being displayed as expected.

Upon reviewing your website, we noticed that you are currently utilizing the “Filter Product By Category” widget. Unfortunately, this widget does not support the hierarchical display of sub-categories. We recommend using the “Product Categories” widget instead, which includes the option to show categories in a hierarchical structure and should meet your needs for displaying sub-categories.

To assist you further, we have already configured this widget on your site. You can view the setup in the following screenshot: Screenshot 1 under the private content area

Thanks, for setting it up but there’s an issue, in screenshot 1 you can see that the product is not displayed when we select the sub category, and in screenshot 2 you can see the product is correctly set up in woocommerce.

Thank you for your response.

Please temporarily activate the Storefront theme (Appearance > Themes) and check how it works with this default WooCommerce theme. Let us know the results of the tests.

We strongly recommend that you create a complete backup of your site before proceeding with these steps.

If the issue continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself.

well it gives the same i guess, how can we fix it?

I could figure it out myself, we had to change the categories setting woocommerce, under display type, we needed to set it to products, it was set to sub categories.
