Hello, I need help, I want to use the theme email template and I can’t understand what the problem is. it doesn’t work. The email creator is activated but the default email from woocommerce arrives. How can I fix it?
I made changes to the child theme and an alert message appeared in the System Status section:
“We detected that some file versions are outdated. Please follow the instructions below to keep your child theme fully compatible with the latest theme updates.”
Although this says the files are updated. I would appreciate your guidance on the subject.
Hello, @Annie,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
1/ We are pleased to inform you that the issue you reported has been successfully resolved. We kindly ask you to clear your browser’s cache and revisit your site to see the changes.
To address the problem, we have deactivated the Developer Mode option within the XStore built-in email builder. This adjustment has rectified the issue you were experiencing.
You now have the ability to modify the email layout according to your preferences using the XStore email builder and publish it accordingly.
For visual reference, please view the images located in the private content area.
Additionally, we encourage you to consult our theme documentation for more detailed information and guidance at: [XStore Theme Documentation](https://www.8theme.com/documentation/docs/xstore-built-in-woocommerce-email-builder/).
We hope this resolves your concerns.
2/ It appears that the issue is isolated to your website. Further investigation has revealed that the problem stems from additional code customizations made to the XStore child theme on your site.
To resolve this issue, we kindly request that you consult with your website developer to review and rectify the customizations in the theme.
Please be aware that modifications made outside the scope of our basic support parameters may limit our ability to provide assistance.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help you.
Best Regards,

Hello, thank you, now it is working. However, the email arrives with the images with a black background (see attached image). How do I solve it? The images are in .webp format.
Dear Annie,
We hope this message finds you well. We have noticed an issue with the display of images in Google Mail, where images in the webp format are automatically converted, resulting in a black background. To resolve this, could you please try converting the images to PNG/JPG format?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
8Theme’s Team
Hello, thank you for your response but I need the images to be in this format since it is a light format and I can have excellent quality. Because it is not changed in code, you can do it for emails. That is a good solution. can you fixed?
Dear Annie,
We hope this message finds you well.
We’re writing to address the issue discussed in the following thread: [https://groups.google.com/a/webmproject.org/g/webp-discuss/c/e1ZzTJOfIyg?pli=1](https://groups.google.com/a/webmproject.org/g/webp-discuss/c/e1ZzTJOfIyg?pli=1).
After a thorough review, it has been determined that the problem originates from Google Mail’s side, not from our XStore theme. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to rectify this issue directly from our end.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
8Theme’s Team
