when scanning with google’s pagespeed dev optimisation tool, the score i get is very low on performance espacially on mobile and does not pass their test.
this is needed for obvious reasons to rank on the pages and for UX as well as speed and what not
what is your response and solution to get over 90+ on performance espacially on mobile more importatnly as well as desktop?
Hello @giorgio,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We understand the importance of achieving a high performance score, especially on mobile, to enhance both user experience and search engine rankings. Optimizing for speed and performance is indeed crucial, and we are here to assist you in improving your website’s performance.
To address the low score on Google’s PageSpeed Insights, we recommend the following steps:
1. **Image Optimization**: Ensure that all images are properly compressed and served in next-gen formats (e.g., WebP). This can significantly reduce load times, especially on mobile devices.
2. **Minification of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML**: Minifying these files can reduce the size of your website’s resources, leading to faster load times.
3. **Lazy Loading**: Implement lazy loading for images and videos so that they are only loaded when they are about to be viewed by the user. This can improve initial load times.
4. **Caching**: Enable browser caching to store static resources locally on users’ devices, reducing the need to re-download them on subsequent visits.
5. **Reduce Server Response Time**: Ensure that your server is optimized for fast response times. This may involve upgrading your hosting plan or using a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to serve content more quickly to users in different geographic locations.
6. **Eliminate Render-Blocking Resources**: Ensure that CSS and JavaScript files are not blocking the rendering of your page. This can be done by deferring non-critical resources or loading them asynchronously.
8. **Third-Party Scripts**: Minimize the use of third-party scripts, as they can significantly impact performance, especially on mobile devices.
We recommend implementing these optimizations and then re-testing your website using Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool. If you need further assistance with any of these steps, please feel free to reach out to us, and we would be happy to help.
