Hi
I am trying to import a page from one of the demos, and getting this error:
Failed API connection. Your server does not allow outgoing connections.
See attached.
Can you please advise what I need to do?
Thanks
Hello, Gayleen,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access. We will check what can be done to help you. Additionally, provide the URL of the desired demo page here.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.
For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
Thanks. Login set up and provided.
FTP.
Hello, Gayleen,
Hello, and thank you for reaching out to us.
We have made some adjustments as per your request, and kindly ask you to review them.
Additionally, we would like to emphasize that the importer you are using is compatible only with pages built using the WPBakery Page Builder plugin. Pages created with Elementor will not be imported. Pages built with Elementor can be identified by the presence of the words “elementor,” “elementor2,” or “elementor3” in their URLs.
To import blocks used on pages built with Elementor, you will need to use the XStore Studio within the Elementor editor.
Best regards,
8Theme’s Team
Thanks Andrew. I couldn’t see where you had imported anything?
I tried creating a new page and editing in Elementor. I searched for xstore studio in the left menu but can’t find any reference to it.
How do I find Xstore Studio?
Thanks
Hello, Gayleen,
We have created two pages for you:
– One with an import test using WPBakery
– Another with an import test using Elementor
You can find the links to these pages in the private content section. Additionally, the attached files will guide you on how to locate the XStore Studio.
Best regards,
The 8Theme Team
