Variation image gallery showing wrong images

Hello,

When we switch variation swatches it appears that the previous variation image’s are showing in the gallery.

Is it possible to only display the selected variation’s images in the gallery?

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

1/ We are writing to inform you to add the Variations images you need to Enable Variation gallery Option in the Xstore > Theme Options > Woocommerce Shop> Single Product Page > Variation Gallery > Enable The Variation Gallery. Then you can add the Variations Images in Variations.

Please add the Variations Images in Variations and check again.

For Your Reference Please check out the images provided in the private content area.

2/ Please be advised that when the ‘Variation Gallery’ is activated on a product page, the display will be limited to the Variation Image Gallery exclusively. This means that the product video and the standard product gallery will not be displayed concurrently with the Variation Image Gallery.

This is a default functionality. Changes require additional code customization.

Hello, we have the variation galley enabled and are using it, we are not using the product gallery.

But as shown in the video I provided in the private section, when you choose a colour swatch, there are still images visible in the gallery that are being used for a different variation.

What if they only have/want 1 variation image in the galley for the first product, and none in the gallery for the other product?

They only have those 3 product images to upload.

Hello,

In screenshot 1.jpg you can see that the “White metal” swatch is selected, but you are able to see products that are Yellow metal. (highlighted in the red box below).

Also, in the video provided, when you zoom on the white metal image, for some reason you see the yellow metal image in the zoom.

Hello, thank you for your response, but unfortunately this does not solve the issue.

The steps that you took in your video, from 0:54-1:00 does not work, because that is not the correct product image. We do not have a product image to add into the variation gallery for the white gold option to complete this step.

Unfortunately, in order to properly configure the Variation Image Gallery, it is necessary to set up a gallery for each variation. In your case, we recommend using the images from the main gallery in the variation gallery.
