Regarding product category setting. There is an issue with filter reset and link Canonicalised

    Hi there
    I am trying to fix issue with my woocommerce product category issues.
    I find that there are three issues
    1. As one customer chooses one filter, he has no option to reset the filter. I see no place to add the reset filter function (see pic1. and pic2.) both in search bar and in off-canvas filter

    2. As I choose to try the product category filter from the shop page (https://totovape.com/shop)to a category page (Smart Gadgets). Then it gets redirected to /product-category/smart-gadgets/. However, the Canonical link is still the original /shop/. see picture 3. Can you fix this one?

    3. The issue with product category remains. I add a “explanation section” to the shop page. As I use product category filter to redirect to Smart Gadgets, The section belonging to the shop page appears at the smart gadget product category page. can this issue be fixed?

    Hi @liang,

    1. We’ve added the Active Product Filters widget to Shop Sidebar for you, it will also include the clear/reset filters button: https://prnt.sc/N_eYPDuOCMKF

    2. Since the filter is using the ajax request, it means you will always stay at shop page. The Canonical link is still the original /shop/.

    3. The issue with the “explanation section” from the shop page appearing on the product category pages may be due to how the content is being displayed across templates. We can help you modify the template structure so that the explanation section only appears on the shop page and not on individual category pages.

    To redirect all users to the category archive pages, we suggest you to replace the Filter products by categories widget with Product categories widget: https://prnt.sc/xpQo4LH95Ix1

    Hi Luca

    I have changed the demo to another one, which is more suitable for my business. However, the canonicalization issue still exists.
    The three issue still exists.

    1. I add Active Product Filters widget but still find that there is no widget to reset or clear filters.

    2. In addition, I find that as I add a product category widget. As I change from one category to another one, the Canonical link is still the original one. Can you tell me how to fix it?
