Has there been any feedback to the “add to cart” button functionality taking time to complete? Our customers are getting the “endless spinning” and the action never completes. So, as result, the customer gets frustrated. On the opposite, “Buy Now” is immediate and takes the customer to checkout.
Is this a bug or an issue that can be looked in to?
Hello, HUSSTLE,
We apologize for the delay in responding, as it was due to the weekend.
We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins and disable CDN on your site) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ ), and updating the Pro Elements plugin. After that, clear the cache of the browser, and then check the Shop page editor again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.
If the test shows that the issue is not related to the plugins, kindly provide us with the link to the page where the “Add to Cart” function is not working. Additionally, please share temporary WP-Admin and FTP access so we can further investigate the issue.
We would like to kindly bring to your attention that the speed of AJAX operations, such as adding or updating items in the cart, refreshing the cart/checkout form, and filtering products, is directly influenced by your server’s response time and the structure of your database. Our theme sends requests to your database and waits for a response. If the response time is slower than expected, we recommend contacting your hosting provider to explore potential improvements in server performance, as this aspect is beyond our control.
Best Regards,
8Theme’s Team
I agree with this topic. When customers click the direct purchase button, it will take a long time to load. And if there are other products in your shopping cart, they will be checked out directly together. This is an incorrect purchase step.
Hello, Joy Ju,
We kindly request that you submit a new topic for your inquiry at the following link: https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/ This will help prevent any misunderstandings and ensure you receive personalized assistance. Please include a link to your website and a video demonstrating the issue you are experiencing, along with a description of the desired outcome.

Yes, I am having an independent programmer look into this, and they are telling me it is “broken”.
I have no desire for them to “fix” this and then your update overwrite the code. I would much rather they NOT customize the theme and theme support and delegate this to the 8Theme team.
Any update to this issue being resolved?
Dear @HUSSTLE,
We hope this message finds you well.
Could you kindly provide us with the URL of the product where the issue is occurring? We have tested several products on your web-site from our side but were unable to replicate the problem. Additionally, it is possible that the notice you are seeing may be related to customizations made on your website. Upon reviewing the console log, we identified the following error, which appears to originate from custom snippets added in the options of one of your plugins: https://prnt.sc/Lq5kTi2XdydV.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response.
Best regards,

Jack – private reply.
Hello @HUSSTLE
Check private area.
Kind regards, Jack Richardson
Jack – do you think it could be the server and resources allocated that is causing the noticeable “add to cart” spinning issue (although, not on your end)?
Thanks for sharing the video on your end!
Dear @HUSSTLE,
We hope this message finds you well.
It appears that the issue you are experiencing may be related to the cache installed on your website or the activation of a Content Delivery Network (CDN). We recommend checking the site from other devices and reaching out to your hosting provider for further assistance.
Please note that this issue is not related to our theme but is likely due to certain configuration settings on your website. We kindly suggest reviewing and adjusting these settings accordingly.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
The 8Theme Team
