Hello, we have such an error, after the update we created copies of the files in the child, because translations are constantly falling off, so it can not be done? Or should we copy these files from the main theme and translate them again? Is there no way to translate such files once and for all? They are not available through Loco translate for some reason

    Dear @Goostaf,

We hope this message finds you well.

The files shown in your screenshot are permitted to be copied to your XStore child theme. However, please note that with each new update of XStore, it will be necessary to compare the source code of the latest version with the source code of the files you have copied to the child theme to ensure compatibility.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Got it, is there any way to make changes to the translations in such files in some other way, so as not to constantly change after every theme update? There is no access to all these files in Loco translation plugin, if there was, I would translate once and forget, but so every update turns into a torture.

    Dear @Goostaf,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to kindly inform you that translations should primarily be applied to the parent theme. Once the translations are completed, they will automatically be applied to the corresponding child theme. However, if you have added custom code to the child theme that uses localization functions, it will be necessary to translate the child theme separately.

Please ensure that the translation files for the parent theme are correctly placed in the following directory:
    /wp-content/languages/themes/

For plugins, such as the Core plugin, the correct directory for translation files is:
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/

Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
