I have created a footer and a header via Elementor.
Now I would like to replace either the footer or the header with the existing footer or header.
How do I do this?
How do I undo this if I don’t like it?
One more question: I can’t get a reasonable responsive version with the header I created.
Is there a video or a step-by-step guide for this?
Dear Juergen,
We hope this message finds you well.
Please follow the steps below to adjust the header and footer settings:
1. **Disable the Custom Header**:
Navigate to *Customizer > Header Builder > Customizer Header Builder* and switch it off. You can refer to this screenshot for guidance: [Screenshot](https://prnt.sc/-sYKQDyQpFPA).
2. **Edit the Header Created with Elementor**:
Open the header you created using the Elementor plugin and click on the “Edit Condition” link. Set the condition to *Included > Entire Site*, then click the “Save & Close” button. For reference, please see this screenshot: [Screenshot](https://prnt.sc/10-getZfKuvn).
3. **Apply the Same Process to the Footer**:
Follow the same steps for the footer you created with the Elementor plugin.
4. **Undo Changes**:
If you wish to revert the changes, you can simply delete the conditions while editing your footer or header.
5. **Making the Header Responsive**:
To ensure the header is responsive, we recommend hiding the main (desktop) menu items on the mobile version and adding a mobile menu element specifically for mobile devices. You can refer to this screenshot for further clarification: [Screenshot](https://prnt.sc/DLgifTZvw5Ey).
