    The filter was shown by the brand but it does not work.

    Hello,

    We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins and disable CDN on your site) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ ). After that, clear the cache of the browser, and then check the result. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If this doesn’t help, provide us with temporary FTP access.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    I hope this message finds you well.

    We would like to clarify the following points regarding the brand filter and the brand archive page on your website:

    1) Brand Filter: This is triggered when a user selects a brand filter from the sidebar. In this case, the URL will include the corresponding argument, for example:
    your site url/shop/?filter_brand=contacez

    2) Brand Archive Page: This can be accessed either from the admin panel or via the “Brands List” widget. The URL for this page will look like:
    your site url/brand/ceramir/

    Currently, the brand filter (point 1) is not functioning because you have chosen to display only categories on the shop page. The brand filter operates based on the shop page, and as such, it will not work properly under the current settings. Additionally, we would like to point out that other filters may also not function correctly if you continue to display only categories on the shop page.

    You have two options to resolve this issue:
    1) Enable the display of products on the shop page.
    2) Use the “Brands List” widget instead of the brand filter.

    Please let us know how you would like to proceed or if you need further assistance.

    Hello, Sam,

    Have you cleared the cache after replacing the widgets? Initially, we experienced a similar issue where the changes were not displayed correctly. However, once we cleared the cache, everything started working as expected.
