    Hello, @KSP ELECTRONICS,

Thank you for reaching out! We’re happy to guide you on how to attach a user guide manual and downloadable firmware to your website. Here’s how you can achieve this:

    1. Adding User Guides and Firmware to Products

You can attach downloadable files like manuals or firmware directly to your product pages. Here’s how:

1/ Edit the Product: Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Products > Edit the desired product.

2/ Enable Downloads: Scroll to the “Product Data” section and check the “Downloadable” box under the “General” tab.

    Add Files:
In the “Downloadable Files” section, click “Add File.”
Provide a name for the file (e.g., “User Guide” or “Firmware”).
Upload the file or paste the URL if hosted externally.

Save Changes: Click “Update” to save the product.

    3. Customer Access
Customers will see the download links on the product page after purchase or directly if the product is free. You can also include links in the product description or send them via email.

    4. Best Practices for File Hosting
Use reliable file hosting (e.g., your WordPress Media Library, Google Drive, or Dropbox).

Please read the documentation of the Woocommerce here: https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/virtual-downloadable/

We hope this helps. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help you.

    Hello, @KSP ELECTRONICS,

    Thank you for your response.

If the attached user guide manual is not showing on the product page, it could be due to how WooCommerce handles downloadable files. By default, the download links for attached files (like a user guide) are shown only after the product is purchased. However, if you’d like the user guide to be accessible directly on the product page, here’s how you can achieve this:

Steps to Make the User Guide Manual Accessible on the Product Page:

    1. Add the File Link to the Product Description

Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Products > Edit the product.
In the Product Description section, add the link to the user guide manually:

Upload the user guide to your WordPress Media Library (via Media > Add New).
Copy the file URL after uploading.
Paste the URL into the product description and format it with text like “Download User Guide.”
    Save changes by clicking Update.

    2. Ensure File Visibility Settings Are Correct

Check the settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Downloadable Products to ensure downloadable files are accessible.

If the product is free, you can also set it up to display the download link without requiring a purchase.

Once these steps are complete, visit the product page to verify the download link is visible. Clear your browser cache if changes aren’t reflecting.

We hope this helps. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help you.

    Best regards,
