Currently I can see I can set a product to in stock or out of stock, but we want to add product that are coming soon to build interest and until the product arrives it should be on google ranking. Example: a new product is just announced like a sports drink and we ordered it to sell, we need that product to be coming soon so we can at least get pre-orders.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your request.

We understand your need to add products as “Coming Soon” to build interest and improve visibility on search engines before the product becomes available. This is indeed a great way to generate anticipation and even allow for pre-orders.

Currently, our system supports setting products as “In Stock” or “Out of Stock.” However, we highly encourage you to share your suggestion on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. If your idea garners sufficient support from other customers, our development team will carefully evaluate the possibility of including it in a future update.
In the meantime, you could consider using custom labels https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/xstore-badges-on-products/ or tags, along with a detailed product description, to indicate that the product is “Coming Soon” and available for pre-order. This approach can help you achieve similar results while we evaluate the feasibility of implementing this feature.

We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve and better meet the needs of our customers. If you have any further questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team
