    Dear XStore Support Team,

I am currently using the XStore theme for my WooCommerce-based eCommerce website and need assistance in customizing the checkout page. Specifically, I would like to know how to modify the following elements:

    1. How to Modify Checkout Page Labels?
I need to customize the text labels on the checkout page, including:

“Returning customer? Click here to login” → Change to custom Chinese text.
“Have a coupon? Click here to enter” → Change to custom Chinese text.
Form field labels (e.g., “First Name,” “Last Name,” “Company Name”) → Translate or modify these fields to Chinese.
Enable/disable specific fields in the checkout form (e.g., making “Company Name” optional or removing it).
Could you please guide me on:

How to modify these labels in the theme settings or WooCommerce options?
If theme settings do not support this, how to modify the corresponding template files or hooks?
Which WooCommerce filters, action hooks, or functions should be used to achieve these changes?
How to apply custom CSS or JavaScript in XStore for additional modifications?
    2. How to Adjust the Address Field Order for Taiwan Formatting?
Due to regional differences in address formatting, I need to rearrange the checkout form fields to align with Taiwan’s address structure. Currently, the WooCommerce default format is:

[Country] → [Street Address] → [Apartment, Suite, Unit] → [City] → [State/Province] → [Postal Code]

However, in Taiwan, the correct order should be:

    [Country] → [Postal Code] → [City/District] → [Street Address] → [Building/Unit]

Could you please provide guidance on:

How to modify the WooCommerce checkout field order within XStore?
Is there a built-in setting to change the field sequence, or does this require custom code?
If code modifications are required, which files or hooks should be adjusted?
How to use WooCommerce filters or functions to customize the address field layout?
I appreciate your assistance in locating and modifying these settings. Looking forward to your support!

    Best regards,
    Max

    Hello, BlackTech,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for using the XStore theme for your WooCommerce-based eCommerce website.

Please post different questions via separate topics on the support forum – https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/

1/ Modifying Checkout Page Labels – Edit the page using Elementor > edit settings of elements, for example – https://prnt.sc/gGBW7xK0TlTx

Theme Options > Woocommerce > Checkout > Company name field > Optional.

You can add custom CSS in XStore > Theme Options > Custom CSS to style the checkout page https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/ , or in the settings of the checkout element in the Elementor page editor https://elementor.com/help/how-to-add-custom-css/

2/ WooCommerce does not provide a built-in setting for address field order, so custom code is required.

If you are using a checkout customization plugin, check if it offers field reordering options.
