I have installed the latest version of the theme and went through the described options to Import the demo data for the “Full Width Single Page” option. In the window that opens for Theme Options/Import-Export. On the import I hovered over the “Full Width” and click on popup for “Install Version” did import with Failed on some posts. Then I went above that and clicked on the “Install Base Demo Content” and it went through the same process.
Problem I have and maybe I am out in the aethers? I have not imported a demo Home page. I was hoping to work from this as a template, but maybe we just have to build from scratch?
Thanks for any help. Great theme, at least it looks to be, just not familiar yet.
Hello,
Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Thank you.

Eva,
I am impressed. Thanks for the quick response. I must regress a bit. I have been playing with the theme and it is impressive and quick loading. Now I just need to find the way to get a visual and page to see easily set up a home page that rocks like your demo.
I am grateful and following my inner voice. You will be my solution, I feel and know it.
I set up temp files for you to gain access and hit the FTP for the domain.
Much thanks
DG

Hello @CenCalDave1,
What is the link to your wp-admin panel?
Also you provided us with FTP credentials to an empty FTP account.
Please give us access to the site files.
Thank you.

Eva,
My bad. I had the login screwed up. Below is the information and I have confirmed the wp login works.
Hello @CenCalDave1,
I’ve imported demo content manually.
Please check the site now.
Thank you.

To Eva and the team at EightThemes I express a huge gratitude and an acknowledgement that you are simply the best freaking theme developer I have worked with. For the price of a theme from you and then the level and quality of the customer service; Absolutely Amazing.
To any potential customers; If you don’t seriously consider purchasing an EightTheme product, you need to have your grey matter examined. This is as good as it can get with a Theme developer and the relationship with customers. They are for sure focused on developing Happy Customers.
All is just perfect with my site now.
Eva,

Eva & Team,
DONE. Quick question. I feel I know what to do, but I have a little uneasiness, so going to ask; I am working with the install, Perfect. I have switched over to using the “child” so I can adjust code and make custom settings which won’t be lost. When there are updates to the parent theme, in order to install the new updated version I need to deactivate the child, (I just kick in TwentyFifteen active), delete the parent main theme, install new zip I get from Themeforest (example release 1.2.1) and then activate the child theme.
Thanks for your reply when you get time.
You guys are great. I honestly am still beyond grateful and belief with the quality of your service and the theme.
Best
DG
Hello,
To update the theme you don’t need remove parent theme folder, just overwrite it with new files.
Please view our tutorial how to update theme (it’s for Legenda but the process is the same):
