I had installed wordpress 3.9.1 and using the default theme.
Everything worked and looked fine until I activated Blanco, then i see the top page displaying the error message:
“Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:\Domains\domain.com\domain.com\wwwroot\staging/wp-content/themes/C:\Domains\domain.com\domain.com\wwwroot\staging/wp-content/themes/blanco/style.css/style.css) is not within the allowed path(s): (.;C:\Domains\;C:\Sites\;C:\SitesData\;/) in C:\Domains\domain.com\domain.com\wwwroot\staging\wp-includes\class-wp-theme.php on line 216 Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:\Domains\domain.com\domain.com\wwwroot\staging/wp-content/themes/C:\Domains\domain.com\domain.com\wwwroot\staging/wp-content/themes/blanco/style.css) is not within the allowed path(s): (.;C:\Domains\;C:\Sites\;C:\SitesData\;/) in C:\Domains\domain.com\domain.com\wwwroot\staging\wp-includes\class-wp-theme.php on line 218 ”
PS: I have edited the domain name above.
Any ideas? Why does the other theme works? I tried twenty thirten, twelve, fourteen, and even this Creativo theme, only Blanco showed the above message under IIS server hosting.
Thanks

can you be more specific with this Eva? Thanks!
Hello,
Are you using Plesk panel at your host?
Please refer to these forums as the issue is with the server configuration not the theme:
