Multilingual site & widget title - by Foeda

Hi,

I’m trying to translate widget titles to Spanish for the Spanish version of the site, but even changing “title” in widgets it remains the same. I’ve installed the es_ES files. I’ve aslo tried to translate the default.mo file using Poedit but I can’t find any “Product categories” widget title (for example). I’ve tried Polylang with some Widget managing plugins but they don’t work. qtranslate-X is not working either with this theme, so now I’m lost.

What can I do or is compatible with these theme so I can have a multilingual site? This is very exasperating.

Hi,

I’ve realised that widget titles only work on “Wishlist” and “My account” pages.

By the way, “My account” link on top bar adresses to the URL of the page you’re on, so it doesn’t work. How do I change its href?

Hello,

As “My Account” page is related to Woocommerce pages I’ve installed them and selected “My Account” in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts tab > My Account Page. Please check “My Account” link now.
To change title for “Product Categories” go to Appearance > Widgets > Shop Sidebar area and change title for “Woocommerce Product Categories” widget.

Now I see that I was confused, I thought shop sidebar was for the shop page, not product category pages…

My Account works ok too.
