Hi,
I’ve run into a little problem.
In order to show “out of stock” the “manage stock” button needs to be deselected.
However, when this is the case, we’re unable to allow backorders.
When the “manage stock” button is selected, and “Allow backorders?” is set to “Allow, but notify customer”, the “Out of Stock” text on the product is no longer showing.
Is there a way to make the “Out of Stock” image show up AND allow backorders?
The reason is, I want to hold a sale for all out of stock items, and allow backorders.
But when the “out of stock” text shows up, the user can’t “Add to Cart” it just says, “Read More”
Perhaps, instead of “Read More” when it is out of stock, it could allow “Add to Cart”.
Either option would be suitable.
Thanks!
