What template or file controls the general Shop Page? I am trying to update the footer that controls it and remove some elements please advise. I did try editing the Shop page and it is not changing. Thanks.

Hello,

Shop page is standard Woocommerce template, you set Shop page in Woocommerce > Settings > Products tab > Display > Products page.

To edit footer you need create it in Static Blocks of WP Dashboard and use 8theme – Static Block widget in “Footer” area in Appearance > Widgets as described in our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/0_footer
