Product Images Not Displaying Properly - by TimMc

    Hello, I have 3 different product sections on my client’s website and none of the product images are displaying properly. Can you please tell me if there is a setting or something set up incorrectly? I need to get this rectified for the site as quickly as possible.

    Hello,

    Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/theleader/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!


    (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Hello,

    Okay, we performed the theme update without issue. However, the product sections are still not displaying correctly. When we attempt to change the configuration via the theme options section, nothing changes. At the moment, all of the products are displaying in a blog post format (please visit the site and check it out). Would like to know what the next steps are so we can get this figured out as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Please provide us with the link to your Shop page and give us wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

    Hello,

    Woocommerce plugin wasn’t activated. I’ve enabled it and set your “Products” page as shop page in Woocommerce > Settings > Products tab. Now you need create products in wp-admin > Products section https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/250683/WNzuwn39VRZZU9IkzmGT0ZwDAf2V4PSA/ .
    Check “Products” page after that.
    Also update Woocommerce plugin to the latest version.

    Hi Eva,

    A few questions:

    1. Why would I need to activate WooCommerce for the Products section of the theme, when I wasn’t using WooCommerce before? Now I have to move all of the products I want to display into Woo? That doesn’t seem right.

    2. I created one new category, with a sub-category in the WooCommerce section and it is still not rendering the product correctly (See the last “rent” tab in the main menu. Under it is Conference Table with one listing). When you click on “Rent”, it does not show the product properly.

    I’m still baffled as to why I would need to move all of my products from the existing product section and move them into WooCommerce.

    Please let me know. I need to get this resolved.

    Hello,

    1. How had you shown products before? Our theme was created specially for Woocommerce plugin, so to create products you need install this plugin.

    2. Please provide us with FTP credentials.

    1. A custom post type was created for products (uses a different taxonomy than WooCommerce).

    Hello,

    I’ve changed permissions to 777 for “uploads” folder in wp-content directory. Please check your product category page now. Clear your browser cache before.

    Hello – our site has been performing just fine, without issue until today. Now, we only get a blank screen and no ability to reach the login page. Any ideas? Thanks… Tim

    So, is my site going to go down each time I have a pending theme update? This doesn’t occur with any other WP site that I manage (14+ of them). Just curious…because that’s an odd way for updates to function.

    The latest version of this theme in ThemeForest is version 1.9. Where do I get version 2.0?
