Altering Product Information Tabs - by DesignerJ

Hi Support

May I know how to arrange the product description tabs from vertical down (currently at my site) to horizontal (similar to the demo themes)

For example this page : https://www.8theme.com/demo/legenda/shop/duis-tincidunt-magna/?et_styles=1-1-0-0-4-0-5-0-1

There is a section : Description | Reviews(0) | Returns & Delivery

However at my site these 3 are vertical down which caused the page to be very very long.
May i know where can i change this setting?

Could you please provide us with the link of the page where tabs are displayed and login credentials to wp-admin panel and FTP?

As I see you have old theme version. Please update it to the latest 2.2 version. Don’t forget to read carefully our documentation before upgrading.

Hi

Are you able to help me update my theme to the latest version?
I’ve searched & read around several topics that technical errors starts to appear if done incorrectly and im not a technical person.

Hello,

Please upload the archive with the theme update to some folder in your FTP account (for example, to wp-content/themes directory) and we’ll help you to update the theme.

Hi Eva

Alright will do so but BEFORE proceeding, will i lose all / any of my current configurations & customization on the theme, uploaded products / images / icons? in fact will i lose any content in the upgrade process?

Hello,

You won’t lose your images/products. If you made some changes in the original theme files, they will be overwritten during update. Did you change any part of the code in the theme files? We recommend you to create a backup of the files and database.

Hi Eva

I have done the DB back up as advised. As to answer your questions

1. No i have not made any code level / technical changes to the original theme files, however i did a lot of customization and configuration via wp-admin & theme options, etc.

2. I have uploaded Legenda 2.2 to ../wp-content/themes directory. In case of any problems are we able to roll back to using the old Legenda theme with all my existing stuff in tact?

Hi

Thanks, everything seemed fine however as of the topic of this support thread, my product Description | Review(0) | Custom tab for all products is still having the vertical layout unlike the demo version.

May i know where can i set / reconfigure this to the horizontal layout for those tabs?

You have old version of Woocommerce plugin. As those tabs are related to woocommerce configuration please update the plugin. If the issue remains after update please reply back.

Unfortunately after upgrading the whole theme and WooCommerce to latest, i’m still seeing the vertical layout, why? 🙁

The reason was you selected tabs type “Accordion” in Theme Options > Single Product Page > Tabs type. I’ve changed it to default and tabs are showing fine now.
Please check.
