Hi folks,
I am creating a site for a client with an average number of parent categories, but a large number of subcategories and HUGE number of sub-subcategories, so I need the navigation of the sub categories to be accordion enabled as well. (total of all categories including subs is over 300!!!)

If you look at the parent categories of Birthdays and Themes, you’ll see my issue. With those two expanded, the page goes on for ages, well past the 6 rows of products. Even when I had Boy Birthday and Girl Birthday etc as their own parent categories (which wasn’t what the client wanted anyway – because that’s what she currently has and HATES), I still had the issue with the Themes category (which can’t be broken down further).
I’ve tried adding “parent-level0” to the li class, and likely because there is ALREADY a parent-level0, it’s not working. I tried adding parent-level1, just to see, and that didn’t work either.
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!

Hello,
It requires additional customization and is a paid service.
If you want to do it you should create a ticket on support.8theme.com and mark it as follows “Forum. Menu Customization”.

Hi Jack,
Thanks for the reply, I’m fine with doing the customization myself – I just want to know where to find it.
Hello,
Then you should edit legenda/js/etheme.js lines 1390 – 1411.

thank you! <3 🙂

Hello, I am also looking for the same solution. Dinnae, did you get yours working and if so could you please let me know how you did it? Thank you.
Hi digital.zen,
My client and I decided to shelve that one for the next update of the site. Too much monkeying around would have delayed the release of the site, and she wanted it live as soon as we could (her list of wants/needs is pretty long).
Would love to hear if you manage to get it working, please post here if you do!
thanks!
Dinnae
