This one is relatively quick, and again, I couldn’t see anyone else had asked this question, nor was it in the documentation, so sorry.
For the main shop/store page, I have enabled the sidebar so I can have the category navigation. Why is it, by default, already open to the top parent category? Can I change that?
Also for the main shop page, the default sorting is set to alphabetical, and that is pretty much the LAST option I’d like to have – but I can’t see anywhere in the theme options to change that. Only on the page itself from an end-user point of view.
url in question is: http://adventuremasterminds.com/shop/
I’ve already created my child theme for Legenda, so please feel free to just point me to the lines of code I need to be looking at.
Tah lots! 🙂
Hello,
Here you can find the solution how to close the first category

Product sorting on Shop page – is default WooCommerce option. So, if you want to change it navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Default Product Sorting > select the one you like

Thank you Robert, you’re a GEM! I’ll try that tonight. 🙂
