    Hi, I believe I’ve done everything but how do I get rid of the white space just above the footer?

    Hello,

    I’ve added this code in 8Theme Options > Typography > Custom CSS > Global Custom CSS:

    footer {
        margin-top: 0px;
    }

    Please check the site now.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello Eva, many thanks for your very quick reply.
    It’s better but if you scroll until you almost don’t see the footer than its white: http://screencast.com/t/3mYNpkyH6ii

    Hello,

    Please use this code in Global Custom CSS.
    .footer .wpb_row{
    margin-bottom: 0px;

    Nope, still there, sorry to say. Viewing in Chrome. If the user continues to scroll to the buttom he may not see the gap but I guess often they will stop to input contact information. But if it requires too much I’ll design it differently. No worries.

    Here is screenshot how customers see your site: http://prntscr.com/89uz1v
    And this – admin view: http://prntscr.com/89uzgl

    There are strings ‘Edit this’ and ‘Edit with Visual Composer’. They are for admin only. You don’t need hide them.

    Hi Robert. I’m aware of that difference. When I view the site I open the browser in private mode. I then get the gap when scrolling slowly when the footer appears.
    I’d be interested if you have a solution otherwise I’ll do another design 😉
    Cheers Jens

    Hello,

    In this case you have to disable parallax effect for your background image. Please try it.

    Hello, your right, it’s the parallax which apparently has to have a flexibility which is then by default white. It would work if you didn’t have the same color (black) after one another or if the next section also was a parallax.
    So be it. Many thanks for your problem solving. Much appreciated.

    Hi there
    Just an info – in this post you suggested a global css whilst there is actually a footer setting in your theme settings 😉

    Another related question, the footer is bothering me… how do I get rid of the space under the last black section? http://screencast.com/t/MCFrp75JbUg

    Looking forward to your suggestion.
    Regards
    Jens

    Hello,

    I’ve added margin value in the row settings in your “Footer” static block:

    Wonderful, thanks Eva. What a small detail – I thought that nothing in the field was zero but of course not.
