Themeforest page says that the latest update is 2.0 (August 15, 2015), but when I download it again I get version 1.9 (June 27, 2015).

Hi!

Can you also send me the 2.0-version as well.

Problem with Revolution Slider 5.0:
I have tried to install Revolution Slider 5.0.6 (and earlier 5.0.x) but the website goes blank after installation so I had to revert to 4.6.93 that is included inside The Leader 1.9 install.
Anything I can change to make it work?

While you are in there, please, check OptionTree that is not working either. The popup window goes blank.

The same error persists when I activate Twenty Fifteen theme and Revolution Slider. You need contact your hosting provider to investigate the issue with database.

Hi,

I contacted the ISP and they spotted some write permission flags that they fixed. But it only resulted in som cleaning up of the homepage structure. I took the opportunity to switch from The Leader 1.9 to 2.0 at the same time but still when I am trying to install Revolution Slider 5.0.6 I get the same blank homepage so I am back at 4.6.x again.

Can you please continue to check what errors you bump into. And also check why Option Tree is also showing a blank popup window.

If you

1. go into Theme Options
2. choose Color Scheme
3. Site Background: click the blue up arrow
4. choose a picture (like “bg_pattern_15.png”)
5. further down click OptionTree it is blank.

I am quite sure this has been working some versions back?

Hello,

As I see image is loading from the domain http://media.your_domain.se/2015/09/bg_pattern_15.png , but your site is loading with domain name your_domain.se, not media.your_domain.se. That’s why you’re getting this error:

You need to fix the issue with your domain name.

Hi,

I have just installed a fresh download of Rev slider 5.0.9.

Before I uninstalled 4.6.x from the plugin page and installed 5.0.9 and it went blank.
Now I have red the developers page to just delete the content in the plugin/revslider/ folder and copy the 5.0.9 versin but it is still blank.

Go ahead as se for yourself.

Let me know when you are done.

I will leave it 30 min in this stage.

Homepage show now!

So I need to build the sliders including the slides again as the old 4.x can’t be imported to 5.x.
That is okay.

But when I am tring to build a new slider (naming it “home1” like the first page one) it will not show up in the slider view. Still when I try to make a new one with “home1” its says there is already one occupied with that name.

I can’t add a slide into the slider either… It feels like it just jumps out to the starting point to make a slider (not a slide). Strange.

Please check.

Sorted.
I uninstalled 5.x (inside plugin page) + data.
Reinstalled 4.x and uninstalled + data.
reinstalled 5.x.

Works. 🙂

Hello !!!
I bought last year The leader 1.5, but then went on a vacation and now I am back to wordpress… How can I get the newest version? I have problems with revolution slider (not showing) and submenus not showing… and multiple woocommerce pages has many out of date pages…!! too many!. so please how can i get a new version of The leader? (Excellent theme!).. thank you in advance!! 🙂

Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/theleader/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
