Cart doesn't get updated after clicking "Add to cart"

    Only on the home page, after clicking “Add to card” for the featured products, the cart’s total on the top right hand corner does not get updated. Is there a way for card area to update after the button is clicked?

    Hello,

    Please update theme to the latest version (2.4) then check issue.
    Don’t forget to make backup of the site before update.
    Here is video tutorial how to update theme:

    The video tutorial is for Legenda theme, but the process is identical.

    Hello

    you are using Woocommerce v. 2.4.4 with outdated version of Woopress theme. Please make backup and upgrade to Woopress 2.4 as it has compatibility with WooCommerce 2.4.x

    I updated the theme version, so now it is using WOOPRESSv 2.4 and WooCommerence is using 2.4. However, now the issue is even worse!

    On all pages, it keeps on saying “Cart 0.00” when there are items in the cart. Please advise.

    Works perfectly fine for me. Please try again. Try to add it in different ways too. If anything, make sure you add it as “use plain FTP.

    I downloaded Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer via the link provided above, uploaded via FTP but issue remains.

    Under plugins, the version is not updated (still says I have version 3.13.2).

    Please advise with more accurate and throughout instructions in how to fix this major problem. This issue has been delayed for WAY too long.

    Hello,

    The issue has been fixed. I’ve added this code in .htaccess file:

    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
       Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </IfModule>

    Please clear browser cache and check site now.

    Thank you. It is finally working correctly.

    – How did you fix the plugin issue (how it would not update)?
    – Also, what does that code mean that was added tot the htaccess?

    I was reviewing my website and I noticed my initial issue still remains. After all the trouble, I’m basically back at square one.

    Main concern:

    Default Ess. grid. You have my FTP and WP login so you should be able to log in and review all the settings yourself. That is the purpose of asking for it, correct?

    Is there a way to expedite this? It’s been way too long since the initial request, and your one day turnaround reply with abstract questions is delaying the issue.

    Please advise.

    Hello,

    Sorry for a delay.
    Unfortunately Essential Grid doesn’t have option to add class for a button that is used for cart widget and it can’t be fixed. As a solution we can suggest you to use “Read more” button instead of “Add to Cart”.
