Custom Posts types – right side panel – recent posts and archive links

Good day 8theme Support,

Can you please just advise if your theme has the built in capability for me to create a right side bar widget for my recent custom post types – in this case ‘News and updates’ for this page here: http://www.afadu.org.au/d1e0v1s0i1t0e/news-and-updates/

As you can see it’s pulling in the ‘Recent Blog Posts’ links – I would like it to pull in the custom posts types that are on the ‘News and updates’ page – which are custom post types.

I just need you to let me know as I’m trying to avoid installing yet another plug in.

Hello,

You can create custom sidebar and add needed widgets https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/8_widgets_custom_widget_areas , then select Widget Area in the page editor in “Page Layout” box.
