The question is: are gone after updating the theme more images of the product. If I go to the custom settings of the product, and I look Hover img, it shows all the photos of the product, but in the gallery of the product, they are gone and it is necessary to appoint them again. I have a lot of goods and redo everything will take a very long time. Please help me.

Unfortunately we can’t know why some images disappeared.
Have you deleted old theme folder before updating the theme and then uploaded new folder or just overwritten it?
We can recommend you to check error logs on a server with your hosting provider to find the reason of this situation.

Maybe set the path in the file that the product took photos for the gallery of Hover img?
