Hello,
I have some issue related to the translation of the theme for the website – http://www.mamicafit.ro
I have translated the default .po file using Poedit and I have created two files for RO translation -.po and .mo
I have uploaded this to language folder and also followed your instructions and add this line ” $locale=‘ro_RO’;” into wp-config.php in the root folder. Also all the translations files have 755 permissions.
Unfortunately the translated strings do not appear on the website.
Please let me know what shall I try in order to be able to translate this website.
Hello,
Please provide us with FTP and WP Dashboard credentials in private content.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.

Hello,
I see only our default files in wp-content/themes/legenda/languages directory:
http://storage2.static.itmages.com/i/15/1103/h_1446554758_1511935_0778808318.png
You must create files with your language prefixes as described here http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit./

Jack Richardson.
Hello again,
I do not know where you looked previously but if I look myself i see the printscreen below
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e8dzpz19gq1e05h/Screenshot%202015-11-03%2015.25.27.png?dl=0
So the files are there but the lines which I have translated do not appear in the website
Example – Product information string
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ogge15pmjpe3bs/Screenshot%202015-11-03%2015.28.43.png?dl=0
My expectation was that in the product description this string to be translated
https://www.dropbox.com/s/t29d4cz3xtr8saf/Screenshot%202015-11-03%2015.29.30.png?dl=0
But as you can see nothing is changed.
So what shall i do next ?
Regards and many thanks for your help
Hello,
You showed the directory wp-content/languages, but theme files should be translated in wp-content/themes/legenda/languages, translate default.po file and save it with your language prefix.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Thanks for your explanation.
I have checked, upload the files and now everything is ok
Many thanks
