 WordPress 0.71 - Gold (released May 2003)

WordPress 2.0 - Duke (released in December 2005)

WordPress 2.5 - Brecker (released in March 2008)
The developers named this version in honor of Michael Brecker. We see a completely new control panel interface. The WP admin has a lot of useful information and the console panel has become much easier. This was the first version, where the plug-ins is on WordPress.org, it became possible to update a single click. Fully enhanced WYSIWYG editor and a built gallery were also included in this WordPress release.
In 2014 there were released 3 major versions of WordPress. We created our genuine WooCommerce themes including the new features of the engine:
  • WordPress 3.9 Smith – the release date is the 16th of April of 2015 was bugged and that is why soon new versions were developed;
  • WordPress 4.0 Benny – released on the 4th of September – used by 25% of all WordPress users;
  • WordPress 4.1 Dinah released on December 18th fixed many bugs with WooCommerce plugin interaction.

The future of WordPress trends in 2015

It is known for sure you will have three new versions of WordPress - 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4, that will be released in April, August and December of 2015.
