Before setting up the plugin and its options, you have to install the WCMP ( MultiVendorX ) plugin from the Dashboard >> XSTORE >> Plugin Installer check the below image:
Once you installed the plugin you will see the option in the admin dashboard panel. Go to the settings of the plugin from there, please refer to the image:
Now, from the settings you will be able to set the necessary options first like, “Approve Vendors Manually, Enable Sold By, Enable Policies Enable Customer Support, and Products Settings.” These are some necessary settings that you might first take a look at and set according to your need.
Now, if you notice on the above options tabs. There are “General, Vendor, Payment, and Capabilities” options. From the first tab “General” You will be able to set some necessary information as I told you above. Second Tab “Vendor” From this tab, you will be able to set the vendors form, Vendors Pages settings, and Vendor Frontend. Please make sure that you have set the settings of the vendor pages from here in order to avoid unexpected issues on the site:
Let’s come to the third tab which is “Payment” Once you enter the third tab “Payment” You will see that there are only two kinds of payment mode. (1, Admin Fees and 2, Vendor Commissions) by default the 2nd option is checked but you can set the one you want. You will be able to set the commission type like (Percentage, Fixed Amount, and other available options.) Also, there are some other options which are by default enabled you can change them as per your need. Please check the below image.
Now, the last option is “Capabilities” From this option you can set the vendor permission for products, like, the vendor adds products and it approves automatically, and the vendor can edit the products and other options as well. Check the below image:
Now, once you have done with the settings. Register a vendor and then add the products to the vendor’s store. Simply navigate to the Dashboard >> Pages >> All Pages >> and open the “Vendor Dashboard” Page from there or simply log in as a vendor on the site. Once you log in as a vendor you will see the dashboard from there you will be able to add products and check the other details of your store. Check the below image:
