After spending hours with tech support at Godaddy trying to get my “WooPress” theme loaded on a new domain, they are telling me that my zip file I downloaded from theme forest is missing the style.css.

Needing to get to work, I purchased another theme forest 8Theme product “XStore” thinking that download would have what I needed. Same problem with that theme concerning the missing style.css. After registering that product in the support section, the forum keeps asking me to register the product over and over again.

As such, I am requesting help here as this is the only forum that accepts my registration.

    Hello,

Please, read this post https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510-Theme-is-missing-the-style-css-stylesheet-error and follow the instructions. Seems you are using wrong archive in both cases – full package instead of theme archive.

If you want to submit topic on XStore support forum go to your account page https://www.8theme.com/my-account/ and enter the ThemeForest purchase code at the right sidebar. After that you’ll be able to create the topic on XStore support forum.

    Regards
