A few issues after update to Royal 2.3 - by Darren

    Good day Royal Theme support,

    We have a few issues since updating Royal theme from 2.2 to 2.3.

    Product pages:
    Breadcrubms no longer appearing under main navigation on the product pages

    Product tabs not displaying on front end under: Theme options > single product > “Enter custom content you would like to output to the product custom tab (for all products)”

    Header:
    The blog-description tag line is not appearing near the telephone icon as it is on our live site.

    Hello,

    As I see you don’t have text in Theme Options > Header > Header custom HTML (for 6, 7, 13, 14, 18 headers). I’ve added your tag text there. Please check header now.

    You disabled Page Heading option in Shop page editor, that’s why breadcrumbs weren’t shown for all product pages. I’ve enabled it. Please check.

    To make tabs shown you need add some content to product description as I’ve done for this product:

    Hi thank you for this.
    All issues have been address, except one – and there is a new one that I have noticed.

    If we use this page as an example:

    You note where it says in the tab ‘Information for you’ under the product and social media buttons, that if you click on it it takes you to the top of the page, instead of expanding the tab.

    Additionally, I think your team put the ‘test’ in the descriptions box for the product in wordpress.
    I deleted this from within wordpress and now the entire tab does not appear.
    We use the short description to display the product description
    If you put the word ‘test’ back into the description of the product, the product description and the ‘Information for you’ tab appear but we do not want the description tab to appear.
    I have left the word ‘test’ in the product description so you can see the problem.

    Finally, if you look in the left hand column under the left hand navigation, the price slider appears broken. It has fields instead of the slider widget.

    Please clear browser cache and check again, or check in another browser.

    You need add some description for products to show tabs, to hide description use the code as described in Woocommerce documentation:

    Are you talking about price filter widget?
    Sorry, it’s unclear what is wrong with it. Could you please clarify with more details?

    Thank you for this reply. You advice did not work, however I have turned the tabs off for now and look at it later.

    Please note, that I have also noticed another bug.

    Go to this page (or any product page):

    On desktop, hover over the ‘Shop Flowers and Plants’ in the main menu, and then move your mouse to the left and try and select ‘Tulips’.

    You’ll see that the mega menu disappears and the View finder in the product image underneath appears to conflicting with menu.

    This is a critical bug as we would like our visitors to be able to select anything in this menu.

    I have placed an image on dropbox for your to see the area of the screen I refer to.

    Thanks Eva,

    The problem didn’t replicate for you as you are on a different screen size.
    The problem ocours when you try and select a product category menu item that is over the product picture.

    So in your case – going by the screen shot you sent me – you would select something like ‘Corporate Gift Plants’ – under the Gift Plants Category.

    Thank you but I don’t think the option you selected is actually hovering above the image below.
    Try moving the mouse down further in the white space under ‘Corporate Gift Plants’.

    Anywhere where the mega menu intersects with the product image below the menu.

    If I move the mouse in that space, what should I see?

    Hello,

    The problem persists only with your child theme. If you activate parent theme you’ll see the menu is working fine. Please check it. So you need to check the customizations you’ve made in child theme files.
