About the setting of the the post page side bar

I’m designing my post page side bar and have 2 questions about it

1. Is there any way to display the full hierarchy of category? My category got 2 levels. From the page only the child level is displayed. I didn’t find any setting to display the father category

2. How to add/remove widget to the post side bar. I only found the setting to set the layout of post page. Don’t know how to do more customisation to the side bar below the category sections
